Your CSV files stay in your browser

The review reads both CSV files and compares them inside your browser, in a background worker. The CSV content is not sent to our servers for the review, and no URL in the file is requested. Synthetic demo files are served from our site and are clearly labeled.

Saving a report is optional

A report leaves your browser only when you choose to save it and confirm the upload. The saved report contains its title, the file names, product handles, finding messages, before and after value previews (each shortened to 240 characters), the rule settings you chose and summary counts. It does not contain your raw CSV files.

Where saved reports are stored

Saved reports are stored in a private database on our virtual private server. Access is limited to the license that saved the report. Other customers cannot open them.

License checks

To open your saved history, the license key you enter is sent to Polar’s license validation service on each request. Your browser keeps the key only in memory for that tab, and our server does not store or log it. We store a Polar license ID and a hashed tenant identifier, derived from the Polar organization and customer identifiers, so that your reports are tied to your license. We do not store customer names, e-mail addresses or payment details in the report database.

Retention

Saved reports expire 30 days after saving, or when their license expires, whichever comes first. Expired reports are removed automatically from the active database. You can remove a report earlier. We keep a per-license save counter so that deleting reports cannot reset the 100-report limit. We do not promise backup or recovery of removed reports.

Live updates

Your open sessions receive live updates through a short-lived connection ticket. These messages carry only event types and report identifiers.

Service providers

• Cloudflare delivers and protects the website. Cloudflare may keep standard connection logs under its own policies.
• Our VPS hosting provider runs the server that stores saved reports.
• Polar processes checkout, receipts and the customer portal, and validates license keys under its own privacy policy.

The site code sets no cookies and loads no analytics or advertising scripts.

Your choices and requests

You can remove saved reports, lock your account or download your reports at any time. For access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests, email [email protected].
