Terms of Service

1. The service

Catalog Preflight is provided by ChimeraMiND (“we”). It compares a current Shopify product CSV export with a proposed import CSV and lists changes that deserve review. The free review runs in your browser. An optional paid beta adds a private history for reports you choose to save.

2. What the service does not do

• It does not connect to your store, import files, change products or check live inventory.
• It does not fetch URLs found in your files, such as image links.
• It does not simulate every Shopify rule. Columns it does not check are listed in each review.
• No review is a guarantee that an import will be correct. You remain responsible for backups, reviewing findings and your final import decision.

3. Optional paid beta and payment

The paid beta costs $49 USD once and gives access for 30 days from purchase. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal. Polar is the merchant of record: it processes checkout, taxes, invoices and receipts, and its checkout shows the final total before you pay. Your Polar license key unlocks private report history. Free reviews do not require a purchase.

4. License keys

Keep your license key to yourself. Do not share it or publish it, and use it only for your own access to the service. We may revoke a key that is misused or obtained improperly.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to attack, probe or overload it, to bypass access controls, or to process files you have no right to use. Do not put payment card details or personal data about customers into report names.

6. Refunds

Refunds follow our Refund Policy. Applicable consumer rights remain in effect.

7. Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its results are complete or suitable for your store. A review does not replace professional catalog or data review.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Privacy

How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date shows the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
